This Privacy Policy explains how CLAIM NITI ("CLAIM NITI", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use this website or ask us for assistance. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and the rules made under it.
Who we are
CLAIM NITI is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us through the form on our Contact page.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to assist with your matter:
- Details you give in the enquiry form: your name, mobile number, email address (optional), the service you are interested in, your message and whether you would like a callback.
- Information you share later if you choose to work with us, such as policy numbers, folio numbers, share certificate details and identity or address documents needed for a specific claim or request. We ask for these only when a process genuinely requires them.
- Basic technical information when you visit the website, such as browser type and pages viewed. Where analytics are enabled we use privacy-friendly, aggregate statistics.
We never ask for your OTP, PIN, passwords or full card numbers. If anyone claiming to be from CLAIM NITI asks for these, please do not share them and report it to us.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and call you back if you asked us to.
- To understand your situation and provide the assistance you request.
- To keep you updated about your matter by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to prevent fraud or misuse of the website.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your separate consent.
Your consent
When you submit the enquiry form you give your consent, by ticking the consent box, for us to process the details you provide for the purposes above. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, but we may then be unable to continue assisting you.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law. When it is no longer needed, or when you withdraw consent and no legal requirement applies, we erase it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website and access limited to people who need it to help you. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Obtain a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, completed or updated.
- Have your data erased once it is no longer needed.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Have your grievance about our handling of your data addressed.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer through the form on our Contact page.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. Where a matter concerns a minor, for example as a nominee, we deal with the parent or lawful guardian and process the minor's data only with their verifiable consent.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact our Grievance Officer through the form on our Contact page. We will acknowledge your grievance and respond within the period prescribed under applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
